The Adjustable Dog Seat Belt is our pick for a simple, low-cost car tether. It is a durable nylon strap with a strong metal clip and a tangle-free swivel, adjustable in length, and it works by clipping to your dog's harness and plugging into the car's seat belt slot. Faddy's says it suits small, medium and large dogs. The listing does not give the strap's length range, weight rating or any crash-test rating.
Why we like it
- Simple to attach and remove with no tools.
- A swivel helps prevent tangling.
- A low price for a basic car tether.
Keep in mind
The listing gives no length range, weight rating or crash-test rating, so it is a restraint for comfort and distraction control, not a certified crash-tested product. Attach it to a harness, never a collar, and check Faddy's return policy.
Who it’s for
Dogs wearing a harness in a car with a standard seat belt buckle. Always attach it to a harness, not a collar.

A tether, not a harness
The seat belt strap connects a harness to the car. It does not replace the harness, so choose a comfortable harness that fits well and attach the tether to that.
Know the limits
The page does not list a weight rating or a crash test. Treat it as a way to stop your dog from roaming the car, and ask Faddy's for specifications if you need them.
