The VERTIGO is our pick for a flat where floor space is tight. It is a floor-to-ceiling tree held in place by tension, so there is no drilling, with a natural sisal pole, padded platforms covered in soft plush and a wide, non-slip base. Le Chat Store says it adjusts for ceilings from 2.40 to 2.70 m and suits standard-size cats and multi-cat homes. It comes in grey and beige. The page is in French and does not list a weight limit, so ask the seller before relying on it for a heavy cat.
Why we like it
- A tall tree that uses almost no floor space.
- No drilling, so it suits many rentals.
- A sisal pole and padded platforms for scratching and resting.
Keep in mind
The listing is in French, gives no weight limit, and states the tension mount needs a suitable ceiling. Check the ceiling height and surface, and read the delivery and returns policy on the Le Chat Store site, as terms for EU orders can differ.
Who it’s for
Cats in small flats with ceilings between 2.40 and 2.70 m. Check your ceiling height and surface before buying, as a tension pole needs a firm ceiling.

Height without the footprint
Cats like height, and a floor-to-ceiling tree gives them a lot of it on a small base. It stays up by tension between the floor and the ceiling.
Check your ceiling
The tree adjusts from 2.40 to 2.70 m. Measure your ceiling, and make sure it is flat and firm. The listing gives no weight limit, so ask Le Chat Store if your cat is large.
