The GRIFF'ZEN is our pick for a cat who scratches and loafs in the same spot. It is a 2-in-1 chair with a braided natural sisal scratching surface, a solid wood structure and a breathable, anti-moisture hammock fabric. Le Chat Store lists a maximum load of 10 kg, simple assembly with tools included, and the listing image gives about 51.5 × 32 × 35 cm. It suits one average-sized cat. The page is in French.
Why we like it
- A scratcher and a bed in one piece of furniture.
- Natural sisal and solid wood look good in a living room.
- A hammock fabric that is breathable.
Keep in mind
The maximum load is 10 kg, so a large cat may not fit, and the dimensions appear only in the listing image. The page is in French, and delivery and returns terms for your country are on the Le Chat Store site.

A scratcher that looks like furniture
Many scratchers are plain. The GRIFF'ZEN is shaped like a small lounge chair, with a sisal scratching surface and a hammock seat, so it blends into a living room.
Check the weight limit
