The Hockey Stick is our pick for a small or medium dog who needs a durable chew they can handle. At 8 inches long and 3.1 oz it is lighter than SodaPup's large-dog chews, and the skeleton pattern gives a dog multiple gripping points and angles. It is made from non-toxic, BPA-free nylon in the USA.
Why we like it
- A size and weight that small and medium dogs can carry.
- The skeleton pattern gives several places to grip.
- A low price for a nylon chew.
Keep in mind
SodaPup says no dog toy is indestructible: supervise chewing, inspect the toy regularly and replace it if it is damaged or pieces break off.
Who it’s for
Small to medium dogs who chew hard. Large dogs will usually be better with the Tough Bone or the Ever Antler.

A smaller nylon chew
Many nylon chews are made for big dogs. The Hockey Stick is sized for small and medium breeds, so a dog who would struggle with a large bone can still have a durable chew.
