The Salmon Belly is our fish-based pick in Raw Pet Co's freeze-dried range. The label lists salmon as the sole ingredient, and the pouch is intended for both dogs and cats. This is still a freeze-dried raw animal product, so careful handling and a conversation with your vet are sensible before adding it to a feeding routine.
Why we like it
- A one-ingredient fish label is easy to review.
- The freeze-dried format is easy to portion at home.
- The listing is intended for both dogs and cats.
Keep in mind
The AVMA discourages feeding raw or undercooked animal-source proteins because of germ risks to pets and people. Talk to your vet before changing your pet's diet.
Who it’s for
Dogs and cats whose owners want a fish-based, single-ingredient treat. Check with your vet if your pet has a restricted diet or food allergy.

A fish-based treat option
Raw Pet Co lists salmon as the only ingredient in this freeze-dried salmon belly. It gives owners a fish-based alternative to the kangaroo and lamb options in the same range.
Read the label for your pet
A single listed ingredient can make a product easier to compare, but it does not establish that a food is suitable for every pet. Ask your vet before using it for a pet with allergies or a medical diet.
Treat it as a raw product
The package describes this as freeze-dried raw salmon. The AVMA discourages raw or undercooked animal-source proteins because of germ risks to pets and people; ask your vet and follow careful handling practices.
