The Window Catio is our pick when you want to give an indoor cat the outdoors without a backyard. It bolts to the wall outside a window, has wire mesh on every side so your cat can watch birds and soak up sun, and a waterproof roof for rain. PetsCosset says it fits one or two cats and suits window openings up to 37.75 inches wide. It is a structure you mount to the exterior of your home, so check how your wall is built and confirm any rental or building rules first.
Why we like it
- Fresh air and a view without leaving the house, so the cat stays safely enclosed.
- Wall mounting avoids the slipping that suction-cup perches can have, according to PetsCosset.
- You can clean it from inside by opening the window.
Keep in mind
The listing quotes two different weight limits (55 and 110 pounds), so ask PetsCosset which applies before you rely on the higher one. It mounts to your wall, so confirm your wall type and any rental or building rules. PetsCosset accepts returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in the original packaging, and you pay return shipping if you change your mind.
