The Big Sister bandana is our pick for a baby announcement when the dog is a girl. It is a pink plaid triangle with big white Big Sister lettering and an arrow, and Pawfect Bandanas lists it as a cotton and polyester blend. It pairs with the Big Brother bandana for a household with two dogs. The listing does not give exact dimensions, so check the size with the brand if your dog has a very small or very thick neck.
Why we like it
- A clear, readable message in a single photo.
- A pink plaid print that stands out.
- It pairs with the Big Brother bandana for two-dog households.
Keep in mind
The listing gives no measurements and lists a cotton-polyester blend rather than 100% cotton. Pawfect Bandanas' return policy also matters: Pawfect Bandanas gives 15 days to request a return, but its policy excludes discounted orders from returns and refunds. A code-applied order may fall under that exclusion, so check the style before you order.
Who it’s for
Girl dogs for pregnancy or new-baby announcements and photos. The listing gives no dimensions, so confirm size for very small or large dogs.

An announcement your dog can wear
A bandana is the simplest way to include a dog in a pregnancy or newborn announcement. The Big Sister lettering reads clearly even in a small social post.
Fit and comfort
Fold the triangle and roll it down for a snug but comfortable fit, and check you can slide two fingers under it. Take it off after photos, and supervise your dog if they tend to chew fabric.
Our buying advice
Choose the Big Sister for a girl dog, or the Big Brother for a boy. The Pawfect Bandanas code from our page gives our biggest discount, and discounted orders are excluded from returns, so be sure of the style first.
