We recommend considering this NoClean light when a compact clip-on suits your tank and you want a flexible mount with dimming and color options. The listing gives useful fit and power details, but it does not provide technical output data that would establish plant-lighting performance or suitability for every aquarium.
Why we like it
- The published clamp range helps owners check the tank edge before buying.
- A flexible neck and attached controls make the aiming and adjustment setup clear.
- NoClean lists the power, lamp dimensions and cable length rather than leaving those details implicit.
Keep in mind
NoClean promotes the light for plant growth, but the listing does not give a PAR value, output curve or tank-coverage recommendation. Treat plant-growth performance as unverified here. The seller also says this light is not compatible with smart Wi-Fi plug adapters.
Who it’s for
Aquarium owners whose glass edge measures 3–6 mm and who want a manually controlled, USB-powered lamp. Match the light to the tank, its inhabitants and any live plants rather than choosing by color options alone.

Start with the tank edge
The clamp is listed for glass walls from 3 to 6 mm thick. Measure the edge where the light will sit and check for a lid or other obstruction before ordering. The 360-degree flexible neck gives some freedom to aim the head, but it does not tell us how evenly the light will cover a tank of a particular length.
Treat the color options as a feature, not a plant guarantee
NoClean describes this as a full-spectrum white, blue and red LED and markets it for plant growth. The listing does not provide a PAR figure, coverage chart or species-specific lighting plan. If live plants are the main reason for buying, compare those requirements with a measured lighting specification instead of assuming this compact lamp will meet them.
Plan the power and controls
The light is 5W and uses a USB connection with an attached external switch. NoClean specifically warns that it is not compatible with smart Wi-Fi plug adapters, so do not plan a setup that depends on one. The 84 cm listed cable length is worth checking against the outlet and tank position.

Can I control it with a smart Wi-Fi plug?

Will it grow aquarium plants?
The listing markets the light for plant growth, but it does not provide a PAR value or coverage recommendation. We cannot establish plant performance from the available specifications; compare the light needs of your plants and tank before buying.
