The Enrichment Tether Toy is our pick for a stylish chew and fetch toy. It is a 4 inch ball of non-toxic, BPA-free, food-grade silicone that maxbone says is softer but strong bite resistant, with a tether you can hold for tossing or tug, and a space for a treat. It suits indoor and outdoor play and is dishwasher safe. maxbone says to supervise chewing to avoid damage and accidental swallowing.
Why we like it
- A tether gives you a handle for tossing and tug.
- A treat can go inside to extend play.
- A design that looks better than a typical toy.
Keep in mind
maxbone says to let your dog chew under supervision to avoid aggressive chewing that could damage the toy and accidental swallowing. Discard it if it is torn.
Who it’s for
Dogs of all ages, including seniors and teething puppies, according to maxbone. A strong chewer may be better with a harder toy.
