The Pawz Dog Ramp is our pick for a dog who can no longer jump into the car. At 180 cm it is long, which gives a gentler slope than a short ramp, and its 44 cm width suits larger dogs. It has an anti-slip surface, a safety carabiner tether and a padded carry handle, and it folds to 49 × 43.5 × 14 cm so it fits in a boot. Floofy Pets rates it for 100 kg.
Why we like it
- A long 180 cm length gives a gentler slope for a dog to climb.
- It folds flat and has a carry handle for a boot or a hallway.
- A tether helps keep it secured against the car.
Keep in mind
A ramp is only safe when it is secured. Use the tether, set it on a stable surface and supervise your dog until they are confident. Introduce it slowly with treats. Floofy Pets accepts returns only for items that arrive damaged, reported with photos and returned in the original packaging. Change of mind is not covered, so measure before ordering.
Who it’s for
Large and older dogs, and dogs with a heavy build who struggle to jump into a car or onto a bed. Check the height of your car's boot against the ramp's length.

A longer ramp is a gentler climb
Many ramps are short and steep. At 180 cm, the Pawz ramp spreads the climb over a longer distance, which is easier for an older dog or a dog with a heavy build. Check the height of your car's boot or bed to see the angle you will get.
Train your dog to use it
Place the ramp flat on the floor first and reward your dog for stepping on it. Raise it gradually, and keep sessions short. Use the carabiner tether when it is leaning on a car, and stay with your dog until they are confident.
