The Pawz Cool Gel Mat is our pick for a cat or small dog who gets hot. It is a round self-cooling mat made from PVC, PP cotton and cooling gel, with a side bolster, double-stitched edges and no need for refrigeration. The medium has a 50 cm inner diameter and a 72 cm outer diameter. A gel mat can be punctured, so it is not for a chewer.
Why we like it
- No fridge or freezer needed.
- A round shape with a bolster suits a pet who curls up.
- Lightweight and portable.
Keep in mind
Keep it away from heavy chewers and scratchers, because puncturing the surface could release the gel. Wipe clean, and supervise your pet at first. Floofy Pets accepts returns only for items that arrive damaged, reported with photos and returned in the original packaging. Change of mind is not covered, so measure before ordering.
Who it’s for
Cats and small to medium dogs who rest in warm weather. Check the 50 cm inner diameter against your pet's size.

A cooler place to rest
Gel mats feel cool to lie on, which helps on warm days. The Pawz has a bolster on the side, so a cat or small dog can curl up against a raised edge.
Watch for chewing
A PVC surface can be punctured by teeth or claws. Supervise your pet with the mat, and stop using it if it is damaged.
